The Madras East Lions Charitable Trust was initiated in the year 1989 and during all our activities through our Trust. The Trust was registered with the Income Tax Department and obtained the 80G Exemption and also registered before the SRO, Ashok Nagar vide Doc.No.6 of 2022 dated 12.01.2022
We have conducted important projects through our Trust namely,
1.Our adopted school – Chennai High School, Mylapore, Chennai
2.Deepavali project – Distribution of dress materials to the destitute and old age homes
3.Medical Centre at our Injambakkam
Lions Club of Madras East Medical Centre, providing services namely,
General, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Pediatric, Orthopedics, Eye, Dental, Diagnostic Services, namely Ultrasound Scan, X-Ray, ECG and blood sample collections services through Thyrocare. Our trust was registered with Income Tax to receive the CSR Funds and we also registered with the Government of India, non-profit organization under the Niti Aayog in Darpan portal. We are providing services to the community in the field of health, education, environmental, etc.
